Find a laundry service near you
Washing, ironing, duvets, curtains and the backlog that builds up when the machine breaks.
Also called mama fua, dobi, ironing service or dry cleaning.
Laundry on Help24 covers two different things: somebody who comes to you and works through the backlog, and a service that collects, washes and returns.
Say which you want. It changes who answers, and it changes the price — collection and delivery are real costs and are usually quoted separately.
Bulky items are the ones worth naming specifically. Duvets, blankets, curtains and rugs do not fit a domestic machine, and a service with the capacity for them is not the same service as the person who irons shirts.

Writing the request
What to include so the offers come back usable
- Roughly how much there is — loads, baskets, or number of items
- Whether you want somebody at your place or a collection service
- Whether ironing is included
- Any bulky items: duvets, curtains, rugs
- Whether you have a working machine, and whether detergent is provided
What moves the price
Why two quotes for the same job differ
- Volume, usually by load, by kilo or by the piece
- Whether ironing is included or priced separately
- Bulky items, which are almost always priced on their own
- Collection and delivery
- How quickly you need it back
Help24 does not publish price ranges for laundry. Quotes come from the laundry services themselves, and the number you agree is the number the payment is held against.
Before work starts
What to check with a laundry service
- Agree how the price is counted — per kilo, per load and per item give very different totals
- Point out anything delicate or likely to run before it goes in
- For a collection service, agree the return day in writing
How Help24 works
Posting a laundry job
Describe the job
Say what needs doing and where you are. Posting is free, and you are not committing to anything by posting.
Nearby laundry services send offers
Providers near you quote their own price. Nobody is assigned to you — you see the offers and you choose.
Agree the price first
Nothing starts until you have accepted an offer. The number you agree is the number that gets held.
Pay by M-Pesa, released when it's done
Help24 holds the payment while the work happens. The provider can see it is there; neither side can move it until you confirm the job is finished.
